Why Male Breast Cancer?

Breast cancer is in the news constantly these days.  Doctors and reporters are warning women of the signs and different treatment options to help them prevent and catch breast cancer early.  There are races that last days, programs on television, and even numerous support groups to help women brave their tribulations.  The only problem is the men.  What about the men?  There are so many people that are unaware males can even get breast cancer.  Although it is not as common in men as in women, all of the media and information is geared toward women; therefore, men do not even think twice about getting screened.  Pamphlets and posters at the hospital are not only in pink; they even are addressed specifically to women and advise women to go get tested and perform monthly checks.  Male and female breast cancer is not really all that different, if only people would be made aware.  The more people I can make aware, the more lives can be saved.  Let's spread the word, and not the cancer!
